When I tap the Firefox icon, the browser never launch the awesome screen, ignoring my Settings, and 3 or 4 tabs open at pages I've never visited nor wish to. How can I find out what's driving it?

Hi Rich57, Thank you for your question. I understand that when you open Firefox for Android that there are three or four tabs that open up that you do not want to be there. In order to clear this, first follow these directions:

  1. Open up Settings
  2. Tap on Privacy

If you would like to clear the session when you exit, you can select "Clear on Exit" on this menu. If not, go back to the tabs and swipe each of them to the right to get rid of them.

  1. Open Settings again
  2. Tap on Customize
  3. Tap on Tabs and make sure that "Don't restore after quitting" is selected.
  4. Go to your apps manager on the device and swipe Firefox for Android closed.

If these tabs have "History", "Top Sites", "Bookmarks" please learn more about panels Customize the Firefox home screen
