Why can't I add the "FireShot" add-on to Firefox?
For some reason, when I go here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fireshot/ & try to add it to my Firefox browser I've been getting a message saying "The add-on from addons.mozilla.org could not be installed because it does not match the add-on Firefox expected." Could someone please tell me why this is happening? Thanks.

It is possible that anti-virus software is corrupting this file or is interfering otherwise.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
(I've deleted the other post because it was meant for another thread - c)
Ok. How do I disable it? I use ESET NOD32 antivirus.
Does this still happen if you download and save the file to your computer (right-click: Save Link As)?
Do you otherwise have a problem with downloading files or installing extensions?
There is usually an icon in the notification area where you also see the clock on the Windows Task bar to access the settings of your AV software.
Never mind. For some reason, it has randomly let me download the add-on normally. I don't know what happened.

There could have been a problem with the Add-ons server and some message was send instead of the extensions file.
