I dislike the Facebook app for Android; I prefer to visit facebook.com on desktop mode in Firefox. Most text entry works as intended - status updates, writing on someone's timeline, messaging, searching. When I try to comment on a post, however, there's a problem: while the text in the entry box appears normal, it posts in reversed order (ABCD posts as DCBA). Backspacing to correct a typo causes the entry box to update and display in the reversed order. I have tried different keyboards, including the stock keyboards; the comment was still reversed. The reversal does not occur when using the stock "Internet" app.

I do have the beta version of the NoScript add-on installed, from their website, but I have it set to allow scripts from both detected domains (facebook.com and akamaihd.net). I am using Ghostery, but the problem existed before installing it. I have AdblockPlus installed as an Android app, not a Firefox add-on.

I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. My tablet is rooted, and I have changed the user agent string so I permanently have desktop mode enabled.

This sounds like https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1144174. FB resolved it for the mobile site but it may still be happening on the Desktop site.

I am unsure that using the desktop site on a mobile device is a supported configuration for Facebook. You can provide them feedback at https://www.facebook.com/help/127103474099499/ "News feed" I believe is the correct area.
