This is because Google sends Firefox for Android low quality images. Firefox is at the mercy of what the Google image search server sends.

Suggested statement:

When viewing individual images Google image search returns much lower quality images to Firefox for Android. Please support Firefox for Android as it is a popular alternative browser for Android.
