I repeatedly get the error message “Plugin Container for Firefox has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program”. I have repeatedly tried all the actions recommended to resolve this including Refreshing Firefox but it returns. Is there any way I can diagnose what the actual problem is (which “container”)?

Were there any crash reports?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

While still in safe mode,

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it and select Submit.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

I did all you recommend, including installing an updated graphic driver. Now I get the problem less often but it still remains.

Well, it's a start. Please post the newest crash reports.

Is it a flash crash like the others? This may help;

Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it

This is refering me back to this same report.

You did not update Firefox. You did not update Flash. And what about your graphics drivers?

more options

I did all of those immediately after you advised me to do so yesterday.

My error was that I earlier today, by mistake, sent you error reports dated yesterday.

I have had the error three times today but do not see any error reports with today's date when I run "about:crashes".

Did you get a Firefox crash window / alert, or something else?

No, after closing and before restarting I get a message saying that there has been a pligin container error.
