I reset Firefox, and now a radio station is playing and I can't stop it.

I reset Firefox and now there is a online audio that I can't stop. The window for this online station isn't open. I've tried opening the station's window, turning on the stream (in order to then turn it off), and two streams play at once.

Try restarting Firefox. If that didn't work (or if you've already tried that) exit all Firefox windows, and end all Firefox processes in the Task Manager.

Or just log off and back on, it should work the same.

Hi, thanks for responding. I have restarted Firefox, restarted the computer, and I still have the problem. I don't know where to find the Task Manager but since I've rebooted the computer, would that still be helpful?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Yes, I started Firefox in safe mode, and the problem is still there.

Then it may not be Firefox. Another user had the same problem, and found the player was running. Start shutting down all programs one at a time.

I shut down everything. When I quit Firefox, it stops. When I start up Firefox, it starts again. My solution for now is to use another browser. I'd rather use Firefox though.

I figured it out. The station was in a pinned tab that I hadn't noticed before. Opened the tab, shut it down, yay!
