I'm on a Mac running Yosemite and my Firefox has been stuck at 37.0.2 for months now. It continually beeps at me saying the newest version is ready to install but when I click it and say sure--go ahead and install--it seems to go through all the motions downloading then tells me the updates will be installed when I restart Firefox, then it never updates and I'm still at 37.0.2. This has been happening for months. I've downloaded/installed/restarted Firefox and my computer a zillion times and it never takes and just keeps beeping at me to install the latest version of Firefox. Never had this problem before, the installs always worked seamlessly. Help!!

Of course after I decided to post, I also decided to click the manual download link in the About Firefox dialogue box. THAT worked. So obviously this is some weird Mac Yosemite + Firefox glitch, every time the alert came up I would click on Yes to install the newest Firefox & went through the motions but would never update & I never cared enough to follow through with it until today & then thank god manually downloading & installing worked. But hey, now I've created a bug report!
