I recently received a message with the Mozilla logo saying that my computer was infected with a "browser hijacker" and other things. The message instructed me to call immediately for support but there was no phone number or contact info which made me suspicious. Please advise.

Mozilla will never send a message like that - Mozilla just plain doesn't use any sort of phone support. Scam that misused Mozilla registered trademarks to attempt to make it look official. You were wise to be suspicious and not 'fall for it'.

Did you run a security scan with your installed AV program or security suite? How about running any anti-malware applications to find that garbage?
