I'm trying to back up my emails to my hard drive, but the dates of the emails change. I would like for the email dates to stay in tact. Can you help?

When I save the emails to my hard drive the dates of the original emails change to the date I'm saving them to my hard drive. I would like the dates to remain in tact.

Thanks,

I think it depends on how you view files on your computer, e.g. I use a file manager that shows the Date of the email, but it can also display the Date Created, which is what you are seeing.

Perhaps you would find it useful to export (save) messages with ImportExportTools, which lets you specify the 'Customized format for filenames' so that the original date is included in the file name.
