Hello,

constantly experiencing random crashes on my tablet, no option to report it either. This is too annoying, as I love the looks of Firefox. Any ideas? I know I have Intel processor, android 5.0, could this be thw issue? It seems I hve enough free RAM.

Thank you.

Hi dusanko, thank you for your question, at the moment the only troubleshooting I know of for crashes on Android tablet are to send the crash reports with a little information as to what steps happened right before.

I do know that they are working on crashes found in 64bit processors that are starting to show up more in the market.

In an open bugzilla issue you can copy the crash reports in the page about:crashes and paste them into the description with the steps to reproduce and the type of device being used.

Hello,

thanks for answer. Unfortunately, there are no crash reports in there. its empty, so it appears Firefox doesn't even know it has a problem.

Does this also happen in the Beta version of Firefox or Nightly?

Hello guigs,

I have just tried both Beta and x86 nightly, both the same problem. Suddenly a black screen, then RTD with no report option.

Thanks, dusanko

I just got a Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro x86 Android tablet. I installed Firefox (Fennec 43) and like this problem's submitter "dusanko", Firefox exits all the time. Scrolling slashdot.org or doing a pinch zoom gesture on a large page pretty reliably exits. Like dusanko, there's no Android or Firefox "the app has crashed", and about:crashes says "No crash reports have been submitted."

I got the (slick!) ADB debugging <-> desktop Web IDE connection working. If I go to m.slashdot.org, I see its tab in desktop Web IDE. But if I pinch-zoom to cause the Firefox exit, I see no log information or anything like that, just gone. `adb log` includes

 I/ActivityManager( 4378): Process org.mozilla.firefox (pid 21884) has died

I filed Bug 1234652 with more details. (I wish SuMo had integration with bugzilla.)
