When invited to an event in CalDAV, is there a way for lightning to notify you of this event, like it does with new email?

Invitations from people not on my CalDAV server come in through email and work as intended. When someone on my CalDAV server creates an event and invites me, I see new events on the status bar on the bottom, but I would like to find a way for a notification popup, similarly to how new email messages are shown.

Is there a way to do this?

You can turn 'Default Reminder setting' on in your Calendar Settings.

Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately this only allows me to adjust whether or not new events I create will have a reminder by default, when created. If the sender of the event doesn't include a reminder then I still have no way to tell if the event came in unless I happen to notice the status bar indicator.

Also, I have had mixed results with the reminders. Sometimes, users will not get any reminders unless they've already accepted the event.
