There is no macro language.

OK lets forget macros - what I am trying to do is short cut the process of sending out personnel email attachments with generic attachments.

I send out monthly a personnel notice to 50 people that has three other attachments.

I make the three attachments as an email template then attach the individual attachment.

It is from this attachment I was hoping I could extract the email address and first name to shorten the process.

What is the master document from which you compile your list of addressees? Could you turn it into, or extract from it, a CSV file of names and email addresses?

If so, then a Mail Merge might be a useful solution for you.

But I'm not confident about mailing each addressee a unique attachment. That's kind of outside the remit of an email client. More what payroll software, or more generally, a database is designed for.

Thanks Zenos

Looks like I am at a place I did not want to go.

I have the master in Excel and I was trying to avoid building a database but it looks like that is the way to go PJGW
