Usually when run thunderbird, it will open only one interface with inbox.

But now, whenever I run Thunderbird, it will open two interface which is inbox & sent. If I close[x] or minimize, each of it will flood my systray as two systray for inbox and sent.

How to revert it back to normal setting where only inbox as a startup whenever I run thunderbird? Very anoying to see both inbox and sent pop up together.

Thunderbird version 38.5 Windows 7 x64

Thank you.

Try that. It will close the thunderbird completely. Sent and Inbox, both is closing at the same time. I do not want 2 thunderbird menu pop up for inbox and sent at the same time. I only want thunderbird start with inbox as default to appear. Any other solution?

try the x in the corner of one that then the Appmenu to close the last instance.

It is a long time since I saw this and am trying to remember the exact procedure.

Already done that and explain in my first post. It will not close. Only minimize to systray(not at same time for both). Then I will see 2 systray for each. Inbox and Sent. Very annoying.

Seems like it was alt+F4 to close the current window.

That action give same result as hit [x], it goes to minimize systray(not same time for both inbox and sent)

I would suggest you disable whatever add-on is allowing you to minimize to sys tray. then work on trying to solve you duplicated windows opening.

Ok. I already disable all my addon. Found out that, addon "AlertSwitch" is the culprit of this problem. Everything fine now. Thank you for your help.
