I checked the history tab on Firefox recently and only 4 sites showed up in total. I don't remember deleting the history but I assumed I just did it and forgot, and I'd only visited those 4 sites since doing that. But when I started typing into the address bar, specific sites that I visited AND specific search terms I'd searched for both showed up. It wasn't just search suggestions - It was exact threads on forums that I know I had visited recently. My understanding was that if I had deleted my history, those previously visited sites wouldn't show up but they do.

So my history shows something like

facebook.com/myprofile gmx.com reddit.com/subreddit1 reddit.com/subreddit2

Other sites like reddit.com/subreddit4/randomthread SHOULD be in the history, but they are not. But they start showing up when I start typing in the address bar, as do previous searche terms that I made on google. Has anyone else had this issue?

Most of the problems have been resolved by Updating firefox to its latest version 48.0 on Google play store. Hope it does helps!
