Plugin check page tells me adobe flash 23.0.0.185 needs to be updated. However when I update and restart Firefox it still tells me I need to update version 23.0.0.185. Is it a false warning or an Adobe loading error.

Flash Player 23.0.0.205 (Win & Mac) is the current version as 23.0.0.185 was put on blocklist for click to play soft blocking due to critical security concerns.

If you do have Flash Player 23.0.0.205 on system and it says you have 23.0.0.185 then it probably did not remove the previous version in install. https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Then install the Flash Player 23.0.0.205 https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Also if Firefox was running when installing Plugins then either restart Firefox or at very least type about:plugins in Location (address) bar to scan for Plugins on system.

It worked by uninstalling. Never had to do that before. It also erased the installer file, which it never did before.
