Email sent is no longer saved in Sent folder - T-Bird version 52.0.1
Commencing with the 52.0.1 update, my sent email has ceased being saved to my Sent folder. Any suggestions on how to correct this? Thanks, Ed

-SOLVED- 1) Copied my mail folder and addresses onto a separate drive. 2) Uninstalled Thunderbird. 3) Totally eradicating every instance dealing with Thunderbird in hard drive folders and in the Registry. 4) Downloaded and installed the latest Thunderbird. 5) Ran Thunderbird and then exited it. 5) Copied my saved files back where they belonged in the Thunderbird profile. 6) Ran Thunderbird. 7) Added my email accounts.
All running great now. Sent messages are being saved in my [Sent] file once again and my mail and addresses are there.

No responses to my question this past week. I have given up on my buggy T-Bird and have switched to Claws. I like T-Bird better but Claws runs without bugs. Ed
Are you talking about a Pop or Imap mail account?
If Imap, have you checked: The 'Sent' folder is still selected as 'Subscribed'
- Right click on imap mail account in Folder Pane and select:'Subscribe'
- select the folder and click on 'Subscribe'
- click on OK
Is this is selected in Account Settings?
- Right click on imap mail account in Folder Pane and select:'Settings'
- Select 'Copies & folders'
- Select 'Place a copy in'
- select: 'Other' and choose the Sent folder on imap mail account
- click on OK
Since the first Thunderbird came out I have used POP mail accounts. I prefer keeping my email on the computer I use. I had no difficulties with previous releases but when I reverted to a known working version the issue was not resolved. I tried uninstalling and then installing but things just got worse, For some unknown reason my email accounts changed to those that were phased out many years ago. Since I have Archived email I didn't want to ferret out all traces of T-Bird and loose them. In the past I used MOZBackup if I needed to completely remove T-Bird but it does not run correctly with the newer T-Bird releases. I would greatly prefer to use T-Bird... if working correctly. Oh well, at least I am able to refer to my archived mail by using a different email client.
Thank you very much for responding, Ed
