I have an email account that is being discontinued (by Verizon). I don't want to delete the messages and folders I've saved locally in TB, I'd like to have TB stop trying to download new messages from the account (which is now disabled). Is there a way to do that without deleting all the data (messages, folders, etc.) that are stored locally?

Thanks.

In a POP account your mail and subfolders are stored in your profile under Mail\"account-name". If you delete the account-name your mail will be deleted as well.

The easy way is to move/copy them some were under "Local Folders". Simply mark and drag those folders. Then delete the account itself You could also uncheck when to look for new messages in the "account settings/server settings"

But first make a backup if you don't do that regularly
