I currently have Firefox 54.0.1(64 bit) and yesterday when i restarted my laptop firefox couldn't load facebook asking me to enable java script ( see attached picture) I trying loading java but that didn't work either.

Just noticed :   your system details show that you have   YesScript   installed (I should have checked that before,   sorry ).

Would you please make sure that   YesScript   doesn't disable   JavaScript   on   Facebook   ?

You tried to load   Java,   which is not the same as   JavaScript.

To enable   JavaScript  :

Type in the address bar   about:config   (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked) Type and look for the preference :

javascript.enabled

And set it's value to   true
