I am not very computer literate. After the pc crash, a friend got me up and running and reinstalled windows 7 (I had been using windows 10, but prefer 7). Thunderbird was not working. So, I deleted Thunderbird and tried to reinstall it. But when I try to get my messages I get a message saying that "Thunderbird failed to connect to server". Should I try deleting the program and reinstalling it again?
