Global database rebuilt (it took 2-3 hours). But as before after searching if I click on a specific e-mail a void tab opens

I rebuilt the global databases as per relative instructions. I search for an e-mail and when the list of e-mails shows when I click on one of them an empty tab opens showing "searching" on the left down corner. The message stays there for 2 minutes and afterwards get's away but nothing is shown. Actually I have to look at the date of the message and search it in the relative folder in order to find it ans see it. That isn't very practical ... My emails are from 2004 migrating from platform to platform.

What is the problem ? Is there any way to solve it ?

So the folder in which the message is stored is not corrupted?
