Can I sync my Safari bookmarks on iPhone with my Firefox bookmarks on PC without installing Firefox on my iPhone?

I installed iCloud for Windows on my PC. Then I installed the iCloud Bookmarks Add-on for Firefox on my PC to try and sync my Firefox bookmarks on my PC to my Safari bookmarks on my iPhone and vice versa. I thought it was possible to merge bookmarks between Firefox and Safari hence the Add-on, but I'm not having any success. I have a Firefox sync account but was unable to make the sync happen. My Firefox, IOS and PC are up to date. Thanks in advance.

Hi

I am not sure if that is going to be possible. Firefox Sync and iCloud are two different services that work in different ways.

I called Apple support and was on the phone with them for approximately 4 hours. The supervisor I talked to said that he read old case files in regards to the same issue. He said the fix in some situations was an add-on that no longer works with Firefox, I only say that b/c I tried it. Everything else syncs up from my iCloud to my Windows PC, just not the bookmarks. There is a Mozilla add-on that I installed for the sole purpose of syncing Safari and Firefox bookmarks. On my windows based iCloud there is a check box for syncing bookmarks with the options of Firefox, Chrome and IE. With all that said it seems to me as it must be achievable, just my opinion though. Now I'm unable to get Firefox to connect to the internet regardless. I've resorted to Microsoft Edge and it's working just fine, I'd prefer Firefox though. Any thoughts/insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
