Hi, why can i access my "Saved Logins/Password" from https://www.mozilla.org/cs/firefox/accounts/? It makes sense when i have my "Saved Logins/Password" in Mozzila's Cloud, i can access it via web.

I have Firefox on my Mobile and Desktop but in my work, we need to use Chrome, and i cant access my passwords from there. It will be very handy if i can just go to Firefox website, login a show my all Saved Logins and Password. Chrome have this feature with Google account. Thanks.

Sync isn't a traditional Cloud service. Firefox Sync encrypts that data that gets sent to the Sync server where it sits in an encrypted 'blob'; there's no mechanism to decrypt user data via a web interface and separate out the various types data. Web access is just not a feature that Mozilla wants for Sync. And it was requested back in the days of Firefox 3.5 & 3.6 as Sync was being developed in the "Weave" extension, before it became a standard feature using the Sync name; some users wanted "Weave" to have the same type of web access that Foxmarks / Xmarks had for bookmarks and later passwords.

Basically it could be said that Sync has triple encryption. the HTTPS connection and the dual kA & kB encryption "keys"; one used for the data and the other making the connection at the server (the password). Each "key" is an algorithmically 64 alpha / numeric string that is generated from the user created password on the device that was used to set up the Firefox Account.

Oh, one other thing; if / when the user resets their password all user data is wiped from the server. A different password and the resulting new kA & kB "keys" wouldn't be able to access or decrypt already stored data; another thing that makes Sync different from other Cloud services, not intended for long term storage of Firefox user data.
