Now, when I close a tab it switches me to next tab on the panel. I would like to switch to previously used tab instead. Is it possible in Quantum?

I am still looking for solution.

Sorry, I don't believe there is a solution, yet.

In the past I have used Focus Last Selected Tab extension to display the "last selected" tab when closing the Active tab, but that extension quit working as of Firefox 57 - was a Legacy extension. https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/fww-flst/

Version 1.2.2 Veröffentlicht am Juni 15, 2017 12.0 KiB Funktioniert mit Firefox 4.0 - 56.*, SeaMonkey 2.0 - 2.49.*

I did find this extension - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/focus-on-left-tab-aft-closing/ - but it doesn't "do" "Last Selected" AND it looks like it quit working 2 months ago, like when Firefox 57 was released, per the user reviews.

Loss of that extension is one reason that I am delaying "every day use" of Quantum and slowly getting accustomed to it while slowly building a new Profile for Quantum. I have 5 different versions of Firefox installed, each with its own unique Profiles.

Thanks for the reply, the-edmeister. This is really frustrating there is no solution still yet. More than 2 months since I started using Quantum and I still can't get used to its limitations. It's so uncomfortable.

I use this addon (FF58):

Select After Closing Current: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/select-after-closing-current/

Works wonders!
