Why are junk messages not moved to Junk folder?
Thunderbird is quite good at identifying junk emails. However, they identified junk emails are not moved to Junk folder automatically. Actually, there is no Junk folder. I thought it would be created automatically.
I have checked Tools > Options > Junk > When I mark messages as junk > Move them to the account's "Junk" folder.

Note that the option says When I mark messages as junk. I don't read that to mean that messages automatically marked as Junk would also move automatically.
If you manually mark a message as junk (press j or use the right-click menu and go to Mark) does it then move and provoke the creation of a Junk folder?

Thank you for the prompt answer. You are right - marking a message as junk by using the context menu moves it to the Junk folder. I have also found the Junk folder. I originally thought it was under Inbox, but I have just noticed it is at the save level as Inbox. Now, I just need to figure out a way to make Thunderbird move the messages thought as junk by Thunderbird to the Junk folder automatically. The accuracy of junk detection is almost 100%. Very impressive.
