Hi, A long time ago it was possible to move up and down in the address bar drop down menu, I mean to actually see name of the website and all the addresses at the same time. For me it's much easier to decide what it is exactly I'm looking for when I can see the icon of the website, the name of the website, and the address at the same time. If I scroll down now, after 21 addresses (I think I used some kind of fix to have more than the original number of addresses listed) the address changes at the top of the browser, but the blue highlight disappeares from view. I've added an image, maybe that makes my problem clearer. (The address in the address bar is actually the 22nd or so address in the drop down menu, you can just see part of the blue highlight at the very bottom, on the right.) It has been quite a few years, I think, since this feature was taken away during an update, but maybe there's a way to fix it. Thanks!

HI, I believe that would be done with userChrome, need to take 20 or more mins to read and figure out what and how for the basics, then it is copy and paste.

To find code and to ask questions :

Now I know I have seen the answer to this but is misplaced or just lost. So please message back after getting a understanding of the above as it can customize Firefox in 235million ways.

I don't know how that is relevant. I didn't want to make my browsing history public knowledge, simpe as that.

Mouse scroll or scroll-pad scrolling hasn't worked in the URL bar "rich results" for quite awhile now.

Try using the down arrow key to scroll down there.

Also, 10 "rich results" in the "Awesome bat" is the default now, so somewhere all the line the hidden pref browser.urlbar.maxRichResults got modified in your Firefox Profile, either manually or via an extension you had installed.

Thank you, Pkshadow, for your help. I've already tried a tweak, but it isn't really doing what I was hoping it would. I tried something which I found here: URL Bar Tweaks - Remove Visit/Search & Limit Width – userChrome.css Style Builder but the problem is the same - after the 10th address, the highlight disappeares from view, but the address is changing in the addressbar, indicating that the "highlight" is moving downwards (the gliding thing on the right has never moved at all). Sorry, I 'm really not familiar with the technical terms. Should I now post this question on the Reddit forum you indicated?

Thank you, ed-meister, but it was me who set it up so that there would be at least 21 or so results I could actually see both the title and the address of, seeing how scrolling down even using the down arrow did not make it possible. Still thank your for trying to help!

Beyond any problems if others with clean FF or FF with addons and or customization can't reproduce your exact issue - knowing where to look is what is called trouble shooting and diagnosis the problem. I doubt most on here care what your searches are it's can they with their setup see the same problem or not. So if one is that afraid when asking for help this is the wrong place to be asking for help.
