Hello. FF crashed on my Mac and then automatically updated to 61.0.2. Once it restarted, I had lost all my open tabs and all my history. There is no previous session file in my profile sessionstore-backups folder.

I do have FF sync set up and connected to my iPad. How do I use/keep the data on my iPad and ensure it replaced the lost data on my macbook?

There is no master. Anything that is done to one member of a sync is shared with all other members.

One thing you can do to protect your data is to make a backup of your Firefox profile to a separate location on the hard drive.

If you do this each day, you will not lose much data.

Thanks for your reply Fred. So the loss of all my history on my macbook will overwrite the history on my iPad?

That I don't know.
