I have a second account that I use to send myself emails. I do this from mobile devices so I don't see a message that I sent myself in my regular mobile email inbox. I only get those messages in Thunderbird. I also have a filter set up so that the filter runs manually and getting new mail before junk classification. It's set to match all messages, then move them to my main email account's inbox.

It does all of that.

However, the second email account will be highlighted blue (as in there's unread mail in the inbox) even though all the messages have been filtered out. Only way to clear the blue is to open that account's inbox (where there are no messages).

Did I set up the filter wrong? Does it maintain blue because there were unread messages before they were filtered out? Is this a real bug?

It is highlighted to indicate the account received mail. There is no way to not have it change to blue after the filters are executed.
