Hi there, typically in the Edit menu of an application on macOS/OSX there is an option to enable Substitutions, it's usually found in the same options group as other text-based features of the operating system Find, Spelling and Grammar, Speech, etc..

I'd really appreciate having this option available in Firefox, is there any technical reason why it's not enabled?

Thanks, I’m aware of the various addons but I want to use the same function that is used for the rest of my operating system so I can share replacements across all applications.
