As of last night (16 Oct) unable to login to my banking site - access denied. Was able to connect with Chrome.
Have used Firefox and Norton security for many years with no problems. Yesterday morning logged into my banking site with no problem. Last evening and today unable to login with this screen message - "Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.XXXXXXXXXXXX.com/online/authentication/authentication.XXX" on this server. Yesterday and today successfully logged into my OTHER banking/investment site without a problem.
Help at problem bank site after trying many options had me install Chrome and try logging in - it worked. I would like to continue with FF not Chrome. Request your assistance.

Thank you. I had cleared cache and cookies but that didn't resolve the issue. I checked a few other FF settings and the Norton firewall. Don't know how - but problem resolved.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.
- Clear the Cache and
- Remove Cookies

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?
While you are in safe mode;
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
