I cannot print the Chase transaction page. (from 2 different computers) If I start with no add-ons then it prints. If I disable the add-ons manually it still won't print so I am at a loss how to find what is offending it.

Sounds more like something is loading that is causing the issue. Since you can print without any addons then it's not caused by FF since you said starting with no addons it prints without issue.

Thank you for the answer. That answer however is circumventing the question. I cannot fix it if I do not know what is causing it, and if I MANUALLY DISABLE EVERY SINGLE ADDON - it will still not print, so that way I cannot narrow down what is causing it. So therefor the question is how can I find what is causing the problem, so it could be fixed?

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting for changes to take effect.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

Hi,

Thank you fgor your help veru much. Another gentleman also tried to get me out of thes ..sh... - and since I answered to hime in detail, I thopught I would forward that to you too. As to your suggestion computer is top notch, (I boult it some 6-7 years ago maybe, and for another about 2 hears my component still were coming out on the top of the revues, so you can immagine it was the best of everything. Whenever I have a problem that is a screwup from Microsoft. This maybe an exception - coming from FF.

Anyway your effort was greatly appreciated because this time I am at the end of my wits. Thank you very much and good luck kooking up some more tips (like the Rabbi with the dying geese if you know the joke)

Thanks, George

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox. Options/Preferences -> General: Performance remove checkmark: [ ] "Use recommended performance settings" remove checkmark: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available" https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings

Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting for changes to take effect. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

Hi,

I think you are not digesting my description at all. Maybe my mistake. I do not mind repeating and improving on it a few times. However I would ask you to try to read it with a little more attention.

"Sounds more like something is loading that is causing the issue." That is trivial because that is what I have written to you.

Since you can print without any addons This is where you lost it. Therefor of course the conclusions are useless too.

This is what I have write and what the situation is:

If I start/load FF with addons disabled, then it will print. (This is the only part you memorized.) However if I start FF normally, and then disable every single addon Theme and whatnot that is there - so theoretically as to my knowledge it should be now identical FF, However if I load it with no addons it prints, if I disable everything manually to starts an elimination process then it will not print. Thank you for supposedly noticing this part now.

Therefor I have a situation where as far as my knowledge goes I created 2 identical setup and one works and the other does not, - for which I have no explanation.

I would mention that changing computers and printers made no difference only Edge. Therefor the only common denominator is FF.

As a result I could not eliminate the offending addon, because if I do (manually) it will still not print. I do not know any further troubleshooting action. I have been using this setup for about 10-20 years and it started happening a few days ago when I wanted to print. So yes I believe it is a FF glitch because Edge prints flawlessly, only I refuse to use the crap. (With no Language options. Congrats to Microsift for another piece of shit product.)

So I would appreciate any grand ideas you may have after my tirade here, thanks,

George
