I use Firefox for privacy, which includes blocking ads, but recently Firefox has decided I don't have enough ads in my life and helpfully gives me more. Really!?! You must have forgotten the reason Firefox exists.

How can I turn those ads at the bottom of the window off?

Thanks.

Hi flopwich, when you view the built-in home page and new tab page, there is a row for "Snippets" at the bottom. To manage the contents of the page, click the "gear" or "wheel" icon in the upper right corner of the page, or see this article:

Customize your New Tab page to hide or display content

Can you get the page to display what you want?

What are these ads for? I don't think Mozilla sends them.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad blocker.

Well, actually, they were an endless series of ads for various products Mozilla wants me to use. Kind of annoying coming from the company that supposedly helps protect me from ads.

Thanks.
