Just removed an addon from the browser directly via the toolbar instead of the addon page and im redirected to add0n . com asking for feedback. I never heard of this site and never have it open itself like that. Is that common or to be expected and some sort of "service feature" by mozilla?

Hi Yinmin, add-on authors are allowed to designate an uninstall page.

It seems many authors use that site; I don't know if they are all part of a team or what. If you go back to where you first got that add-on, scroll down, and look for the add-on Homepage in the left column, it might be on that same site.

It's possible that it is just an ad. If a download is offered, don't do it.

Spot on, jscher. Appears this is the case. The addon was Auto Tab Discard and they have Add0n com linked as their support and homepage.
