When I first opened Tbird, calendar was there. I clicked on the X to close it temporarily, but haven't found a way to get it back. Thanks in advance.

It appears you don't have Lightning enabled or installed. Open Tools/Add-ons/Extensions. If the button next to Lightning is Enable, click it and restart TB. If Lightning is already enabled but the calendar isn't visible, reply here for further help.

Thanks for getting back! However, I press Ctl+Sft+C and nothing happens. The alt key did produce the menu bar, but no events and tasks menu. Wondering if the Tbird download was corrupted in some way. Thanks again.

Success! I opened extensions and lightning was enabled. So disabled it, then enabled it and rebooted. Voila! Calendar! Many thanks for your assistance and patience.
