attachments do not open
Something has happened with my Thunderbird installation. I am running Windows 10 with Thunderbird 68.3.0 (32-bit). It started with that I cannot open attachments in emails. Seem to be that the path to the file is wrong. If a file "the file.pdf" is attached, two paths are sent to the PDF reader: C:\WINDOWS\System32\the and C:\WINDOWS\System32\file.pdf
I tried to remedy the issue by updating, which fails. So I cannot install 68.3.1 clocking the link that appears in the Thunderbird takes me to 68.3.0 which I did install.
Please let me know if more information is needed.
