On the weekend I tried to forward an email - error message wanted authentication. I didn't think much of it as I was trying to forward an email with a google form in it. Since then I have found I can't forward or send anything! Did the iinet support thing - changed everything we could to try to fix it but no go! I did not install any software nor any manual updates...please help. These were my settings before iinet support got to them. I can still receive email.

Your last image for the SMTP server shows no authentication. IINET requires authentication and STARTTLS. They also say SSL/TLS, so you might have to change the STARTTLS. You will certainly need to change the authentication required to password.

See the required setting on the IINET web site here. https://iihelp.iinet.net.au/Email_Settings

Thanks Matt. Your suggestion made me think...STARTTLS is what it had and iinet support had me change it. Changed it back to STARTTLS and left everything else as they had said and BINGO! It worked. Cheers, Tony
