I should be able to help you with this.

From the Android home screen, open the Android Settings app (typically a cogwheel icon) and select Applications.

Find Firefox in the list, and under Storage, clear the cache (do not clear data!).

Restart your device and when you next use Firefox for Android it should be much easier to use.
