Hi all, I am running Thunderbird 68.8.0 and I am having issues linking an email address to a calendar in Lightning.

When adding a new calendar, I get to choose the email address that the calendar can accept invitations from.

After adding the calendar, the calendar is indeed associated with the selected email address. Invitations received on that email address are indeed added to that calendar.

But when I restart Thunderbird, this association is gone.

Clicking "properties" and selecting (again) the right email address, and clicking "ok" doesn't seem to change anything (opening up the properties dialogue again shows "email: none").

I did read this post, but it doesn't help me since the option "prefer client-side email scheduling" remains grayed out (both during the process of adding the calendar, and when clicking "properties" etc. afterwards).

Is anyone else facing this problem?

Is this a calendar on an Exchange server and you access it via EWS or OWA using an add-on?

No, sorry, I forgot to mention that. It's a caldav calendar (using a radicale server). I'm not using any extra add-on for it (except lightning).

(It worked well before I updated to 68.8.0).

Although I now found out that the issue only appears when I try to link the caldav calendar to an outlook email address that I have added using exquilla... Linking the calendar to other email addresses works.....

Sorry it works now. It seems I just had to update the add-ons. Thanks for the quick response.
