The disabling of Hardware Acceleration did not solve the issue, BUT it did LEAD me to fixing the issue. I used the Refresh Firefox feature https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings . Firefox did its thing after pressing the button and boom. Everything is good and back to normal. Thanks for the response, Fred.
