my question is about security

https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/messages-demande-permission-extensions-firefox?as=u&utm_source=inproduct#w_acceder-a-vos-donnees-pour-tous-les-sites-web

Access your data for all websites ; Extensions requesting this permission could: The extension can read the content of any web page you visit as well as the data you enter there, such as usernames and passwords.

Can Addon read paswords ? from all the sites I visit? almost all addons require "access your data for all websites ?" can they all potentially access my accounts?

thank you very much in advance for your answer

Hi Luc, many add-ons work without full access to the page, but there are many other things that require that permission. This permission includes the ability to monitor and change what you type or paste into forms on the page, which could include login information.

Mozilla reviewers check certain extensions carefully -- the ones with "Recommended" on their listing. But most extensions are only checked by human reviewers when they are first uploaded. When they are updated, the code is checked by software, which should filter out most dangerous features but can miss some.

Of course, most extensions do not steal data, but you should consider whether you trust them before installing. More info: Tips for assessing the safety of an extension.
