Hi,

So I have a kind of unusual problem. I am currently logged into my Firefox account (obviously) and have access to all my saved material/history. The problem is I do not know my current password (the ones saved in the password manager are old/not correct) and I can't reset it without losing all my info. This is mostly a problem because I want to activate Firefox sync on another computer. Does anyone know how I can find out my current password without resetting everything?

Thanks!

If you reset the password of the Firefox Sync Account then this only affects (removes) data stored on the Sync server, you should still keep data on connected devices.

To be sure, you can backup your personal data locally.

just as a thought, the MS Edge has been aggregating passwords from my FireFox. I am not sure why though.

but if you have windows 10 and ms edge, you may find a sneaky backup of your pw's in it.

my suggestion is to close your ff then open up the edge and see its logins page.
