I use filter messaging in Tbird(TB). For some reason a specific emails shows up color coded green. The only way I can find the emails is to do a SEARCH, then they all show in green and it says its in the right filter box but they aren't there.

Crazy issue. Can I turn off the tagging.

Tks for help

The message colour green is by default used for mail tagged as personal. However I really do not understand how you are expecting to view your mail tagged as something. Tagging does not place it into an folder as such, just highlighting it in the folder is was in with a colour to make it stand out.

You could create virtual folders (saved search) using the message find (Ctrl+Shift+F) to display messages tagged as personal, important or whatever in their own folders, but that will not remove the colour, only removing the tag will do that..

Thank you Matt.

My problem is very hard to explain but I will try.

The sender's emails used to go to a specified folder. I use filtering a lot.

I noticed I wasn't receiving emails from the sender and did a email search within TB and messages showed up and it says they are in the folder.

Apparently they must be hidden or something like that.

Is my explanation clearer now?
