Pocket section of homepage can't be collapsed anymore?
I keep the "Recommended by Pocket" section collapsed throughout most of the workday to prevent distractions when opening new tabs. Recently I've found the section can't be collapsed anymore. I know that I can disable Pocket on the homepage, but I don't want to do that. I still want it available for me to take breaks or when I'm finishing up with something. The collapse feature was ideal for me.
This may sound petty, but it's a real issue. I would rather stop using Pocket than let it distract me all day. I could write a bookmarklet to deal with it, but not everyone has that option.
Is there still any way to toggle this section? If not, why was this feature removed, and can this feature be brought back?

I don't know why the expand/collapse controls were removed. Maybe they were considered unnecessary because it's now easier to add/remove items to the page using the Personalize button in the right corner?
For now, there is a preference that rolls back this change (and the redesign of the shortcuts/top sites), but I don't know how long we'll have it (appears to be removed in Firefox 94 beta):
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box in the page, type or paste newNew and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.newNewtabExperience.enabled preference to switch the value from true to false
