I've just installed Thunderbird on Windows 10 (78.12.0 64-bit). It works great, but I'm noticing one problem (so far): tags do not persist. If I set a tag on an email, then set the same or different tag on another email, the first tag will disappear after a second or two. It will also disappear when closing and reopening, or after switching to another folder, or even browsing in the same folder. I've repeated the behavior in safe mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tags can be problematical on imap mail servers that say they support tags and then don't, they get synchronized to oblivion. I have no workaround other than use a different mail provider.
