I have used a POP email address with TB for many years but only fairly recently started using a mobile phone and the Gmail app, initially to monitor incoming mails preferrng to send from the computer, and more recently changing the account to IMAP. The POP account had many message filters defined to move certain types of email out of my Inbox. Changing the account to IMAP lost all those and I've gradually been adding them back. A problem arose recently when we bought tickets online to a show. Opening TB meant that the ticket email was moved to a Billing folder, so wasn't accessible on the phone. I was relying on the phone to be able to show proof of tickets on entry. I found a workaround by forwarding the email to a different account. So my question is, can emails in folders created in TB be synced to the Gmail app? Or is there no room for message filters with an IMAP account?

I'm using TB v78.12.0 (64bit) under Win10 Pro and Gmail v2021.07.11.387440246 on Android 9.

The folder pane is hierarchical, so if the folder is under the account in the hierarchy then yes it will be reflected on the gmail server. If you have moved thinks to another account like "Local Folders" then no as it is no longer stored in the account structure.
