All of a sudden I'm getting the Yahoo maiil ID changed to Google Mail with out any authorisation on my part ? I know Google owns Yahoo. I use Yahoo mail all the time and Yahoo is my ID for many applications so why has this happened ? If something like this can change unknowns to me does this mean that Google has control of my MAC and FireFox and its content .??

Is your Firefox set up with your Google address as the "primary" email address? You can check your Firefox Account settings here:

https://accounts.firefox.com/

If you prefer to change your primary email address, that is possible. Maybe it's not that important?

But when you are logging in to Yahoo, you definitely would want to use your Yahoo address. If Firefox is suggesting the wrong address there, you may be able to remove the suggestion. Try pressing the down arrow while you are in the box for entering your email address to highlight the unwanted suggestion in the drop-down. Press Delete or Shift+Delete to delete it.

Hi, Google does not own Yahoo. There is no connection between the two companies.

Where are you seeing the mail ID changed? Is this when you go to log in to a particular website? Or is it a problem with your Firefox Account?
