This is interesting, Firefox has a feature where clicking in a Password box brings up the option to"Use a securely generated password" option... which is cool, except that for some reason it's not letting me generate a NEW one on this website I'm on, it keeps giving me the exact same password as my old one!

This is problematic because the website won't let me re-use a previously used password when resetting my password!

How do I tell Firefox to generate a brand new securely generated password?

What I did was securely generate a password, log in to the account, do stuff, change the password to something simple in order to ease setting something else up and now I want to reset the password again and use a securely generated password again but it keeps giving the previous one instead of a new one.

I've tried Ctrl, Shift and Ctrl Shift clicking the Securely Generate a Password option but it still re-uses a previously generated password -_-"

Did you try to remove the current password to see if that makes Firefox generate a new password ?
