I have several email accounts on Thunderbird. But as of late I have one email acct that whenever I want to go to "New Message" it opens a window with a message from an old email like a template. I deleted all the emails from and to the party where the message came from but no luck. Can anyone help get rid of that New Message? My other accounts are working just fine. Thank you

This sounds like a template, so I suggest you look in the Templates folder. Check also that you may have an addon such as Smarttemplates or Quicktext.
