I use Firefox for Facebook but have discovered that if a series of images are posted in Facebookk then the normal left and right click buttons either side of the image to move from one image to another do not work. Nor do the left and right keys

I have just done a test posting on FB and checked it does not work in Firefox.

I've swapped to Opera and that works.

I'm on a M1X MBP 2021 Monterey 12.3 and I've just downloaded and installed the latest Firefox just in case

Hi Rex, Everything is working fine here on my Intel Mac. Let's trying something simple, like clearing your cache and cookies.

  1. In the History menu, choose Clear Recent History.
  2. In the Time Range to clear drop-down, select Everything.
  3. Select both Cookies and Cache.
  4. Click Clear Now.

Hi Chris, Thanks for you help but that did not work. I notice that the normal cross top left to return from "slideshow" to standard view is missing too. Both problems are an M1X problem because I've got home and fired up Firefox on my Intel iMac and FB works fine. Regards Rex

If you start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode, does the problem still occur? To start in Troubleshoot Mode, go to Help > Troubleshoot Mode.

If the problem does not occur in Troubleshoot Mode, then you can disable your extensions one-by-one until you find out which one is causing the problem. For more info, visit Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.

Hi Chris I have removed the extensions and now the left and right button to move through the slide show are there. The Cross to return to FB or stop full screen mode is still not there. Thanks for your help Rex
