How do I delete a saved user name that is wrong in firefox on Mac
Previous posts from years ago said to highlight the wrong user name and hit Shift + Delete. That used to work, but no longer does. How can I remove the incorrect user name from the drop down list?

Make sure you use the cursor Down key to select this item in the drop-down list.
Suggestions in a login drop down list that have a key icon in front are login suggestions that you need to remove in the Password Manager.
Suggestions in a drop down list without a key symbol are autocomplete saved form data. Suggestions without a key icon are part of autocomplete saved form data that you should be able to remove by selecting this item with the cursor Down key and pressing Delete (Mac: Shift+Delete).

Thanks, but this did not solve my problem. I don't save any logins and I still see various user names pop up when I get to a screen where they are entered. I can't figure out a way to delete incorrect ones and nothing in that article was the answer.
