M FF is really messed up. Too many pages do no appear correctly. I am not savvy and do not want to mess around. I would rather find which files to save for passwords and bookmarks and do an uninstall and a clean reinstall. If anyone is kind enough to give me a step by step on how do do this. Firstly which files do I save fore mym bookmarks and passowrd, after I have those files I guess I can uninstall and reinstall then replace those. Thanks

Pehaps you could try refreshing your profile first? If the reason you are having issues is because of a problem with your profile, refreshing might help as it restores your profile back to defaults while keeping a lot of your data. See here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

But if you still want to manually backup data then re-install Firefox, is this any help? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recovering-important-data-from-an-old-profile

too scared to mess with this, I will just have to switch browsers or find someone to do it. The instructions assume a lot and I do not. Thanks anyway. Can an update cause an issue with a profile?
